Care and maintenance

• Clean writing surfaces regularly with a damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding harsh chemicals that can damage the finish.
• Use suitable chalk or liquid chalk pens recommended for blackboards and acrylic to prevent staining and ghosting.
• Allow boards to dry fully before writing again to keep text crisp and easy to read.
• Store boards flat or upright in a rack when not in use to prevent warping, scratching or broken corners.
• Periodically check frames, hinges and stands on folding or double boards and tighten or replace fixings as needed.
• Keep boards away from direct heat sources and prolonged moisture to extend their working life in busy hospitality settings.
