Care and maintenance

• Disassemble plates, blades and feed components after each use and clean thoroughly with hot water and food safe detergent.
• Allow all parts to dry fully before reassembly to prevent rust and bacterial growth, especially on cutting components.
• Regularly sharpen or replace blades and plates to maintain a clean, consistent mince and reduce strain on the motor.
• Apply food grade lubricant where recommended by the manufacturer and avoid oiling parts that contact food unless specified.
• Never use abrasive pads or harsh chemicals on aluminium or stainless steel surfaces to avoid damage and pitting.
