To find the right size dining table, first consider how many people you'll be seating. If you regularly book parties of two diners, a mid-size table will suffice. For larger parties, a bigger table is advisable. As a general rule, aim for a table that provides each diner with approximately 580mm (23") of horizontal space and about 305mm (12") in front of them. For a party of two, a table with a 600mm diameter (if round) or width (if square) is ideal. For parties of four, you'll want double that, and so on.
